Yoga is a spiritual discipline based on extremely subtle science which brings harmony between mind, body, and soul.
I am yoga enthusiast and have been practicing yoga since my school days.
My passion for yoga has led me to impart training as part of community service for more than 10 years.
I combine the rhythmic flow of Vinyasa and strength of Hatha with a spiritual approach cultivating awareness of inner silence and enabling my students to connect with their mind, body, and soul. At the same time they strengthen, stretch, balance, ground and explore their energy with the flow of breath.
Yin Yoga practice is slower, relaxing and more meditative. It gives space to turn inward and tune into your mind and physical sensations of your body. It gives deep stretches to improve flexibility, strengthen joints and connective tissues.
Prenatal Yoga is a great way to prepare for child birth. I combine gentle movements and breathing techniques to support mother-to-be on their journey from conception all the way to birth.
Yoga not only improves balance, strength, endurance and aerobic capacity in children it can also help in improving focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior and can even reduce anxiety and stress. I weave in fun games and stories with positive themes like compassion, gratitude and strength while teaching yoga to children.
Yoga is a holistic system within itself where the mind and the body act in unison and get completely rejuvenated. As a Holistic Health coach I design my class in such a way that physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation help in the overall well-being of women.
Meditation is a set of techniques to train the mind to allow awareness to turn inward and perceive life as it truly is.
Using different meditative techniques like Yoga Nidra, Antar Mauna, Trataka, Jap Mala and Sound Healing I guide my students to learn to live in the present, increase their mental and physical peace, increasing their healing ability, enhancing creativity with the intention of spiritual growth and allowing inner peace.
In my sound healing meditation sessions, I use different musical instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, quartz bowls and chimes to create vibrations around the body in meditative state that not only heals different parts of body but also relaxes the mind by releasing the stress, anxiety, improving sleep, helps in self-observation and bringing awareness to the inner self.
